These terms apply to everyone who visits this website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who runs this site, and who does the work

This website, Plano Water Damage Restoration, is owned and run by [OPERATOR_LLC] (“we”, “us”).

Plano Water Damage Restoration is a referral service. We don’t do restoration work. When you call us or send the form, a call-routing partner connects you with a participating independent restoration company.

  • Each participating company is independent. It is not an employee, agent or branch of [OPERATOR_LLC].
  • Any estimate, work authorization, contract, invoice or warranty is between you and the company you hire.
  • Participating companies may pay for the calls and requests they receive through this site.
  • [OPERATOR_LLC] does not inspect, supervise or guarantee any company’s work, licenses, prices or availability.
  • You’re never obligated to hire the company you’re connected with.

Read anything a company asks you to sign before you sign it. Questions about the work, pricing or billing go to that company. More on how this site works: about us.

Our guides are general information, not advice

The guides on this site explain how water damage, drying, insurance and Texas rules usually work. They are general information only.

  • Not legal advice. For a legal question about your home, contract or claim, talk to a Texas attorney.
  • Not insurance advice. Your policy and your insurance company decide what’s covered. Read your policy or ask your agent.
  • Not a substitute for an on-site inspection. Every home and every leak is different. A guide can’t see inside your walls.
  • Not a substitute for emergency services. If there’s a fire, gas smell, electrical hazard or injury, call 911.

We are not public adjusters, and we don’t do restoration work. Nothing on this site is an offer to negotiate or settle an insurance claim for you.

How accurate is our content?

We work to keep every page accurate. Facts, prices and laws come from named sources, and each guide shows a “last reviewed” date.

Prices, laws and City rules change. A page may be out of date between reviews. Cost figures are published ranges from the cited sources, not a quote for your job. Your actual price comes from a written estimate by the company you hire.

If you find an error, email [BUSINESS_EMAIL] and we’ll check it.

Using this site

You may read, print and share pages from this site for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t:

  • copy our guides onto another website or sell them
  • use the site or form to send spam, false requests or harmful code
  • try to break into, overload or interfere with the site
  • pretend to be someone else when you contact us

The text, layout and graphics on this site belong to [OPERATOR_LLC] unless the page says otherwise. Names and logos of agencies and standards bodies, such as the IICRC or the City of Plano, belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn’t mean they endorse us.

Calls, forms and texts

When you contact us, you agree that we may send your request to our call-routing partner and one participating restoration company. You also agree that the company may contact you about it. Texts are sent only if you opted in, and you can reply STOP at any time.

How we collect and use your information is explained in our privacy policy.

No warranties

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that the site will always be online, error-free or free of viruses. We don’t promise that any guide fits your situation.

We don’t guarantee any company’s work. Any warranty on restoration work comes only from the company that does it, in writing. Ask for it before work starts.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, [OPERATOR_LLC] isn’t liable for losses that come from using this site or relying on its guides. That includes indirect or consequential losses, such as lost time, lost belongings or extra living costs.

[OPERATOR_LLC] isn’t liable for the work, estimates, delays or billing of any restoration company or other contractor, including one you reached through this site. Claims about restoration work belong with the company that did the work.

Some laws don’t allow certain limits on liability. In that case, these limits apply only as far as the law permits.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about this website will be handled in [GOVERNING_LAW_VENUE].

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
