Privacy Policy

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE]

Legal review: [LEGAL_REVIEW_STATUS]. This policy should be reviewed by a Texas attorney before the site collects any personal information.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, call our number or send our form. It also explains who we share it with and what choices you have.

Who we are

This website, Plano Water Damage Restoration, is run by [OPERATOR_LLC] (“we”, “us”). It is a referral service. We don’t do restoration work.

When you call or send the form, your request goes through a call-routing partner to one participating independent restoration company, so it can respond. That company has its own privacy practices for the work it does in your home. Ask them for a copy.

What information we collect

Information you give us on the contact form

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your ZIP code
  • What happened (the description you type)
  • When you’d like a call back
  • Whether you checked the box to receive text messages

Information from phone calls

Calls to us go through our call-routing and call-tracking partner, [CALL_TRACKING_PROVIDER]. It connects your call to a participating restoration company. It may record call details, such as:

  • the number you called from
  • the date, time and length of the call
  • which page or ad led you to call
  • the general area linked to your phone number

Call recording: calls may be recorded by the call partner. [CALL_RECORDING_NOTICE]. If calls are recorded, you’ll hear a notice at the start of the call. Texas allows a call to be recorded with the consent of one party to the call (Texas Penal Code §16.02, per the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press). We play the notice anyway, so every caller knows.

Information collected automatically

We use [ANALYTICS_PROVIDER] to see how people use the site. It collects things like:

  • the pages you visit and how long you stay
  • the site or search that sent you here
  • your device type, browser and general location (city level, not your street address)

This information comes from cookies and similar tools.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to count visits, see which pages help people and connect a call or form to the page it came from. We don’t use cookies to sell your information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can still read our guides and call us without them.

How we use your information

We use it to:

  • route your call or send your request to one participating restoration company, so it can call, text or email you back
  • connect a call or form to the page that led to it, so we know which pages help
  • check the quality of calls, if they are recorded
  • fix problems with the site and make our guides clearer
  • keep records that show you agreed to be contacted

We don’t use your information to decide whether your insurance claim is covered. That decision belongs to your insurance company.

Who we share it with

  • Our call-routing partner. [CALL_TRACKING_PROVIDER] receives your call details, any recording and your form details, so it can connect you with a participating company.
  • One participating restoration company. It receives your form details, your call and any details it needs to respond to your request. It is independent, not part of this site.
  • Service providers. Our analytics, hosting and email providers handle data for us. They may use it only to provide their service.
  • When the law requires it. We may share information to respond to a court order or a valid legal request, or to protect someone’s safety.
  • If the site changes hands. If [OPERATOR_LLC] sells or transfers this website, the records may go to the new owner under this policy.

We don’t sell your information to data brokers or list buyers. Participating restoration companies may pay for the calls and requests they receive. Your details go to one company, only so it can respond to your request.

Text messages

You get texts about your request only if you checked the SMS box on the form or asked to be texted. Texts come from the participating restoration company or our call partner. That box is never checked for you. You don’t have to agree to texts to get help.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.

How long we keep it

We keep form and call records only as long as we need them. That means long enough to respond to your request, keep proof of your consent and meet legal duties. After that, we delete them or remove the details that identify you.

Your choices

  • Stop texts: reply STOP.
  • Stop calls or emails: tell the restoration company on the phone, or email [BUSINESS_EMAIL].
  • See, correct or delete your information: email [BUSINESS_EMAIL]. We’ll reply and tell you what we found. We may need to confirm your identity first.
  • Block cookies: use your browser settings.

Children

This site is meant for adults dealing with home repairs. It isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email [BUSINESS_EMAIL] and we’ll delete it.

How we protect it

We limit who can see your records to the people and providers who need them to respond to you. No website or phone system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
